Directions

Guests arrive by foot, bike, motorcycle, car, coach and train as well as by plane to Newquay (45mins.) or Land's End (30mins.). (For more travel information please see our local information page).

For those arriving by car, motorcycle, bike; from the main A30 take the A3074 to St.Ives. After 4 miles, at the Porthminster Hotel take a right fork and continue down hill into the town centre. Pass the turning for the railway station and bus station on your right. Continue along the main road down the hill and start passing shops. Take the First Turning on the Left called GABRIEL STREET (the National Westminster Bank and Library are on the corner). Continue up the hill to the First Mini Roundabout.

Turn Right into BULLANS LANE, the Stennack Surgery (an old school) is on the corner. Continue up the hill to a T-junction and Turn Right. 70 metres on as the main road swings left down a hill, go straight on keeping the cemetery wall on your left. Monterey Guesthouse is 100 metres along on the right hand side.

For those arriving without a car you can walk from the station (approx. 20 min's.) or bus station (approx.15 min's.). St.Ives is hilly so with a bag a taxi is often easier. Call before you arrive and the taxi will meet the train, bus or plane.
